Join an Advisory Group

For our participants convenience, all Advisory Group meetings are available both in-person and remotely.

WE NEED AND WELCOME YOUR INPUT

 You should consider joining HHI's Community Advisory Panel if you: 

  • Have been impacted by mental illness, substance abuse and/or developmental disability 

  • Support the recovery of someone you know or care about 

  • Want more support in your own recovery 

  • Have an idea for a new service or program 

  • Want to share or learn about community resources 

  • Have something to say about living with chronic illness 

Community Advisory Panel

HHI’s Community Advisory Panel is an opportunity for clients, family members, friends and other concerned persons impacted by behavioral health conditions to provide input and make recommendations on matters important to the people we serve. 

HHI’s Community Advisory Panel meets the the 2nd Wednesday of each month in Westland from 2:00 - 3:30pm. If you are interested in joining, please contact Leatrice Bell at (734) 968-6534.

CCBHC Advisory Council

HHI’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Advisory Council reviews the goals and objectives related to HHI’s process of becoming a well-developed CCBHC. A direct care staff member shares experiences of implementing the project from their perspective and from the perspective of the consumers served during that quarter. 

 

Members will include both individuals served by HHI for behavioral health and representatives from community stakeholder organizations.

Substance Use 

Advisory Group

HHI’s Substance Use Advisory Group is an opportunity for persons with passion for substance use disorders, prevention, treatment and recovery the opportunity to influence current and future services in our community and beyond.

Members include persons with lived experience, their family members, HHI staff and board members, and community professionals from a broad scope of public and private industries including government, law enforcement, criminal justice, healthcare, education, employment training, and finance among others.
